    A Glorious Day

    A photo a day: 251/365.

This is my fifteenth photo with a new lens.

My 16-85 mm lens died while we were up north, so I replaced it--with an identical optic. I'd have upgraded if a faster, otherwise comparable lens had been available, but no such lens exists. The best alternatives would have forced me to replace one lens with two, which wasn't going to happen.

Please don't take that to mean I regret the D500--it's a wonderful camera, and I'm enjoying using it hard. But....
