The lower green and red spots are reflections of the wingtip and forward fuselage lights in the Bay, between the view point and the taxiway. The wavey scarf / flag stuff above the plane, and reversed colors, seem, to me, to be internal reflections in the lens. A viewer asked about a blue "Cats eye" artifact in another picture, I guess shooting in high contrast light uses all the fortitude of my lens.

The planes are more like dots, the fixed lights are more like dashes. Ditto the moon and its reflection.

Delta Airlines Boeing 767 -200 23:38 handheld pan, vibration reduction lens, DSC_0335

It's nearly midnight and a hard-working young man who really needs to unwind a bit (me) stops at SFO, on the way home, for some night photography. Most of the tries are imperfect, some are not bad, some, like this, please me, considering. I could argue 5-7 frames are worth other people's time, and not everyone's taste is my own, so I'm posting what seem like the "best", which are primarily the Qantas 747-400 taking off, because i never get to see the Qantas 747 take off.

Perhaps this, like any incomprehensible modern art, is "About man's inhumanity to man."
