    Loss of Privacy

A journalist asked Reese Witherspoon what the worst thing about being Reese Witherspoon was, and after some thought she responded; “I mean, I feel like an ingrate for even thinking anything isn’t good. I’m very, very, very lucky. But . . . umm . . . probably that I parted with my privacy a long time ago. We went different ways. And sometimes I mourn it. Sometimes I will sit in the car and cry. Because I can’t get out. That’s the only thing: I mourn the loss of my privacy.”

    Will They Ever Go Away?

"The paparazzi make money by selling their photos and video of well-known people to publications around the world: The National Enquirer, The Globe, The Star, People, US Weekly, OK!, In Touch, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Access Hollywood, TMZ, Hollywood.TV, Splash, etc.

One photo or video clip is commonly sold repeatedly to many different publications internationally which can be very lucrative (there are over 1,200 celebrity news sites in the U.S. alone according to Hitwise). The rewards increase tremendously if the paparazzi are able to capture something unique regarding someone famous."
