    Forward into the future

Thank you for visiting - ❤ with gratitude! Fave if you like it, add comments below, get beautiful HDR prints at qualityHDR.com.

Last May we went cherry picking, literally. There are farms in Brentwood, California, where you can pick your own fruit. On the way home I captured these wind turbines between Brentwood and Livermore, from a car in motion.

I processed a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, desatured the result, and added some wormwood colors to give the scene a serene look.

CrossFire Fusion - Aneutronic Star - Legends

Conceptually, it has been designed to be the most energy-efficient fusion reactor. Effectively, a clean, safe, dense and environmentally friendly power source to supply the world's energy needs, with no greenhouse gases, no neutron emission, no radioactive waste, no thermal waste, no large land areas, no environmental impact, no interruptions by the weather or time of day, no nuclear meltdowns and no proliferation. It is to be the ultimate energy source, an affordable answer to the world’s energy problems; the right path to a more sustainable, peaceful and prosperous future for our planet. Potentially, the CrossFire Fusion Reactor can produce directly and efficiently an enormous quantity of electricity with less cooling water than conventional thermal power stations, releasing only the non-radioactive, non-corrosive, inert, and safe helium-4 gas.

    Indian Point Closure Public Meeting

On January 26th we held the first of what will be many public meetings to address the effects of the closure of Indian Point. It was important to discuss the tremendous ripple effects of this action and assure the public of our bi-partisan, non-political unity to represent our area for whatever plans are put in place. It was also important to hear from the public and listen to their concerns and suggestions. We are just getting started.

    Shoreham Power Station / Portslade

420MW gas-fired power station, opened summer 2000, on the site of the old Brighton 'B' coal-fired power station. The 106m chimney is on the same spot as one of the previous brick-built stacks. It is said that the design is intended to resemble a ship. Shoreham Harbour, Portslade, Sussex, England.
